Adam A. Cruz

Adam A. Cruz’s practice focuses on insurance defense litigation, including bodily injury, diminution of value and property damage matters involving automobile accidents, premises liability and first-party claims.  Mr. Cruz has tried several matters to conclusion before the bench and has both defended and prosecuted civil cases.

Mr. Cruz is a respected member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association and the Litchfield County Bar.

Prior to joining Penino & Moynihan, Mr. Cruz gained significant insurance defense experience at a national defense firm, handling automobile, premises liability and construction matters.  In addition, Mr. Cruz was staff trial attorney at a global Fortune 100 insurance company and handled the defense of personal liability and commercial liability matters.  Mr. Cruz has also held a casualty claims adjuster license and understands their needs on an intimate level.
