David A. Karlin

David A. Karlin is an experienced litigator who has defended a wide variety of claims on behalf of numerous insurance companies and corporations. These include cases related to premises liability, automobile accidents, slip and falls, property damage and construction related matters. He has significant trial experience and has also represented clients in arbitrations and other alternative dispute resolution forums. He has knowledge of all aspects of pretrial litigation and discovery processes.

Prior to joining Penino & Moynihan, Mr. Karlin represented those injured in personal injury lawsuits which gives him a balanced perspective when defending clients against negligence claims.  Mr. Karlin also previously served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted numerous cases involving the sale and distribution of narcotics, armed robberies and assault.
